YEARBOOK POSITION

There are several open positions in Yearbook Club for the 2026-2027 school year. We are looking for innovative, responsible, and hard working students to be writers, photographers, designers, and editors. We are especially looking for students who will be juniors during the 2026-2027 school year. You must be able to attend meetings on Mondays and Thursdays from 2:15-4:00 p.m. year-round. Attendance on both days is required. It is a lot of work but it is fun! It is a great resume builder. If you are interested, please email Mrs. Logan-Hay at eloganhay@wths.net. We are starting next year's yearbook now!  (Logan-Hay)

CANCER KIDS FIRST

Please join us for the next Cancer Kids First meeting on Tuesday, April 14th at 3:20 in room 237 at the O'Plaine campus.  We'll be creating a craft for a local hospital and discussing our next project for pediatric cancer awareness.  We hope you can join us! Join us for a Film Club Meeting where you can:

✨ Share short films you’ve made (or works in progress!) Talk about movies you’ve seen 

and meet other students who are just as into film as you are.

LAST COLLEGE REP VISIT OF THE SEMESTER

The rep from the University of Illinois Urbana - Champaign is coming to O'Plaine 4th period on Tuesday, April 14 in the College & Career Center. Come learn why U of I is the top four-year college choice among Warren students! Prior registration is required for this visit as space is limited. Interested students can sign up with Ms. Hartley in the College & Career Center Room 258. Students may attend up to 3 visits per semester and attendance will be taken. (Hartley)

MECS MEETING

The April MECS meeting is on Tuesday April 14, 2026 at 3:20pm in room 244. We have a lot of information to share and discuss so please make every effort to attend. Hope to see you there and bring a friend. (Boncher)

LAKE COUNTY HAVEN DONATION DRIVE

This week is the last chance to help Lake County Haven with donations for their new women's and children's shelter. Attention Juniors & Seniors! The Career Expo is this Friday in the Main Gym during periods 3 - 6. Meet with over 70 professionals from a variety of industries to learn more about career pathways and possibly even land a summer job or internship! Students can attend during their lunch period or their 3rd – 6th period study hall. See you there, Blue Devils! (Hartley)

After  the 10th, the site will shut down and they will be $80 from the bookkeepers at either campus and only a limited number will be available. The yearbook is a 320-page hardcover keepsake that documents the school year. You will want one for every year of high school! (Logan-Hay)

ALMOND CAMPUS

MEN’S WEARHOUSE PROM TUX RENTAL DISCOUNT PARTY

Men's Wearhouse in Gurnee has invited our Mr. Warren contestants along with their friends to a Prom Tux Rental Party THIS Sunday, April 12 from 9am-11am. We have 15 more spots to fill. You will receive $70 off your Prom Tux rental but you have to sign up today and you have to attend this Sunday! On the Warren website click Activities, then School Events & Dances, then Prom where you will find the link to sign up to attend this Sunday. On Thursday, April 9th state testing will take place.  The cafeteria will be open at both campuses for breakfast as usual, and will be open anytime after that for grab & go lunch items until 1pm. (Isaacson)
