Rules and Regulations
Parking Regulations
Parking on school property is a privilege, not a right. By choosing to park at Warren Township High School, students agree to abide by the following policies and procedures regarding vehicle operation:
-
All students must display a valid parking permit or temporary parking tag to park in designated student lots.
-
Violations related to truancy, tardiness, or disciplinary issues may result in the suspension or revocation of parking privileges.
-
A parking permit does not guarantee a specific parking space; it simply grants the privilege to park on school grounds during school hours.
-
Students must park only in areas specifically designated for student parking.
-
At the Almond Campus, student parking is permitted in the lots by the flagpole, adjacent to the softball fields, and near the B1 entrance doors.
-
At the O'Plaine Campus, student parking is limited to the South Lot near the football field.
-
Students who park in staff lots, visitor spaces, or other unauthorized areas may permanently lose parking privileges and may be ticketed and/or towed at the owner's expense.
-
Improper operation of a vehicle on school property will result in the loss of parking privileges.
-
Students must follow all directives from security and school staff while in the parking lot.
-
Students are not permitted to return to their vehicles during school hours without prior approval from the Deans’ Office.
-
Sitting in vehicles during school hours is not allowed.
-
The speed limit on school property is 10 miles per hour.
-
Motorcycles, scooters, and similar vehicles must follow the same parking regulations as automobiles and park in designated areas.
-
Warren Township High School is not responsible for any damage to or theft from vehicles while on school grounds.
-
Any vehicle on school property is subject to search by school authorities and law enforcement personnel in cooperation with the school.
-
Parking permits and temporary tags are non-transferable; students may not use another student's permit or tag.

-
Temporary parking tags are available at the Bookkeeper’s Office and must be displayed in the vehicle before the start of the school day.
