Background Information: Last week there were two (2) local incidents involving students in Round Lake and Grayslake walking to and from the school or the bus stop.

Safety Tips:

  • Be Alert: Pay attention to your surroundings and stick to areas of high traffic.

  • See Something, Say Something: If you see or hear anything suspicious, please speak to a trusted adult.

  • Communicate with Family: Let them know when you are leaving and when you should be expected.

  • Buddy System: Walk with friends or groups when possible.

2. College and Career Readiness

students

What is it: Warren Township High School and the State of Illinois look at multiple indicators of college and career readiness for our students.

Why it’s important: These indicators include academics, attendance and co-curricular activities. In addition, two College and Career Readiness data points that rely on student and family input involve employment and community service.

Next Step: If your child has completed community service hours, has been employed over the last 12 months, or employed for two consecutive summers, we ask that you and your student complete a form found in PowerSchool.

Please click here for information on how to complete this form.

3. Coming Soon: State Testing
