2. Warren Celebrates State Recognition on Report Card

What’s new: Today, Illinois released its annual state report card, showing how school districts are progressing on some of the most important school quality indicators. Celebrations this year include:

  1. 95% graduation rate - the highest for WTHS in over a decade.

  2. Achievement of state level “Commendable” status.

  3. Increases in the average SAT scores for English and Science and higher than the state average for Math.

  4. Decrease in the percentage of high school graduates who have to take remedial courses in Illinois community colleges.

Areas where we need to keep improving include:

  1. Making sure all of our 9th grade students finish their first year of high school on track to graduate.

  2. Reaching more diverse students with our Career and Technical Education programs.

  3. Addressing the achievement gap between some of our student groups.

We are committed to continuing to improve our services for students.

3. Welcome Officer Tazzioli

SRO Tazz

With 8 years of service, Officer Tazzioli brings a wealth of experience to her new role as a SRO (school resource officer) at WTHS.

  • SRO’s connect with students, parents, and staff serving as a valuable resource for our schools.

  • Let’s give her a warm welcome!
