1. Checking student grades is easy to do

A+ Grade

Reviewing your student’s progress with them: Your child’s learning can be checked in PowerSchool.

  • Visit on the Web

  • Download for Android or Apple (the mobile app code for our school is HLBB)

Can’t remember your login? Click here and provide the email you use to log in.

Once you’re in: You can get a quick overview in seconds.

2. Homecoming activities are happening soon

When it is: Homecoming is September 25-30.

  • Activities occur all week, including spirit days, Powder Puff, pep rally, football games, a parade, and homecoming dance.

  • The parade will start at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday morning in the Gurnee Police Department parking lot and head north up O'Plaine Road.

3. Order Yearbooks Today!

Prices for the Yearbook: Yearbooks are $50 if you order during September.

  • Prices go up $10 in October, then again in January and April.

  • April orders only happen if there are unsold yearbooks.

Prices for Senior Ads: Senior Ads are $50 for 1/8 page and 70$ for 1/4 page if ordered in September.

  • Prices go up $10 in October.

  • Ads cannot be purchased after October.

How to Order: Go to and enter code 8537 for WTHS

  • Books can ONLY be ordered online (they are not sold at registration or other events)

  • Parents: Please communicate with your students if you have ordered them a year book

Why this matters: Sometimes students don’t realize their parents have ordered a year book and they don’t know to show up for distribution.

4. Unofficial Transcripts are available for Seniors

Class of 2024: Seniors’ unofficial transcript can now be accessed through PowerSchool, under “Student Reports.”

Why is this important? College applications typically ask students to self-report what courses they have completed, and the grade earned.

  • Unofficial transcripts can assist students in completing this portion of the application

To access: Login to PowerSchool (available through both parent and student portals)

  • Click on “Student Reports” on the left-hand side of the screen

  • Choose “Class of 2024 - Unofficial Transcript”

5. Students can sign up to hear from college representatives at both campuses

What it is: Beginning this week, college representatives are visiting Warren to meet with interested students.

  • Attending a college visit is a great way for students to get more information about a school and get your questions answered.

  • Students can expect to hear from each college about their majors, admission requirements, student life, housing, tuition, and financial aid.

How to attend: Students must sign up to attend a visit (O’Plaine Signup Link | Almond Signup Link) before the day of the event.

  • Students can only miss 3 classes per semester to attend, not including lunch or study hall. Their absence will be excused.

  • Students report to the College & Career Center at the start of the period.

  • They must be passing all of their classes and are responsible for getting late work from their teacher.
