The Warren Township High School District 121 Board of Education has begun the search process for the District’s next superintendent who will begin duties on July 1, 2022. Dr. John Ahlgrim will be retiring at the end of the 2021-22 school year. The selection of a new superintendent is one of the most important decisions a Board of Education will make; therefore, the Board has enlisted the services of the Illinois Association of School Boards (IASB), Executive Searches, to assist in this process.
One of the first steps in the process is to develop the desired profile of the next superintendent, and the Board is seeking your input to assist with this. You are invited and encouraged to complete a short survey provided by the IASB. An IASB consultant will present a summary of the compiled survey results, along with the Board survey results, at an upcoming Board of Education meeting. These results will be used to create an “Ideal Candidate” profile that will be included in the Announcement of Vacancy, which will advertise the position.
The deadline to complete the short survey is Friday, July16, 2021 at Noon (CST).
