ABC COUNTDOWN! 

The ABC Countdown continues on Tuesday with Wacky Socks Day for the letter W!

 

GIRLS TENNIS OPEN HIT

There will be a girls tennis open court hit on Wednesday, May 15th from 3:45 to 5pm at the Almond Campus. This is open to all current players and any new students who want to try tennis! Beginners are welcome to come try, we will have extra rackets if you need to borrow one. (Desecki)

AP rosters are now live on Canvas. Be sure to double check start times and test locations on the day of testing as changes may have been made. Good luck to all testing!  (Swiatko)

 

SPANISH NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY FUNDRAISER

Head out to the Gurnee Mod Pizza on Grand for lunch or dinner today, Monday, May 13th. A portion of the sales will be donated to Spanish National Honor Society. Order through the app or in person, all day. Use code MODGIVES20. Let's raise some dough. (Lerner)

GIRLS SWIMMING AND DIVING SUMMER CAMP

Attention all girls currently on the team or interested in joining the 2024 swim and dive team. We will be holding a 3 week camp this summer to get prepared for the season. Camp dates are July 8th through July 25th, Monday through Thursday, from 8:00am to 10:00am. All the information has been updated on the Girls Swim and Dive Varsity Website. Please check it out. TABLETOP GAMING CLUB

All good things end. Fortunately, TGC will be back next year, but for now, our last meeting this year is today, Monday in the O'Plaine Library after school. Fortunately, there ARE late buses this Monday. Nope. Just kidding. C'mon, you know there are no late buses on Mondays, you big silly. (Harkins)

MECS MEETING

MECS will have its last meeting of the year on Wednesday May 15, 2024 at 3:20pm in the O'Plaine Lecture Hall. We will be celebrating a successful year and looking ahead to next year. Hope to see you there and bring a friend. (Boncher)

 

LOST AND FOUND LAST CALL!

The time has come to check the lost and found for the final time! Did you lose your house keys in October? A ring in November? Your graphing calculator in January? We might have it! Please swing by the attendance office between classes to see if your lost treasure has been found! (Zeisler)

 

O’PLAINE YEARBOOK DISTRIBUTION

We will be at the OP Campus outside of the cafeteria on Tuesday, May 14th to distribute yearbooks. If you ordered one, we sent you an email reminder on the 6th, so please check your email. Sometimes parents order for their student and the student doesn't realize it. After the 14th, yearbooks can be picked up from the OP bookkeeper. (Logan-Hay)

 

STUDENTS OF SERVICE TRAVEL ABROAD!

Are you a member of S.O.S. at the O'Plaine Campus? If so, listen up! We have 2 trips abroad planned for 2025! We will be traveling to Peru next summer and to Thailand over the winter Break of the 2025-2026 academic year. The trip is open to all current SOS students at O'Plaine (so current sophomore members who will be juniors next year will be eligible to attend!) Any new members next year can also join us on one or both of these AMAZING trips.
