JAZZ BANDS IN CONCERT - All three of your Warren Jazz Bands are performing in concert for the first time in a year and a half! Show starts at 7pm tonight, Thursday, in the Almond Blackbox Theatre featuring Jazz Lab Band, Jazz Ensemble II, and Jazz Ensemble I. (Tribley)

MOCK TRIAL - The Mock Trial Competition Club will be meeting this Friday, October 15, at 4:00 in Room 141 at the Almond campus. If you are interested in pursuing a career in law, come join us as this may be the club for you. If you are interested, but unable to attend, please email Mr. Olson at golson@wths.net.  (Olson)

ASTRONOMY CLUB - The Astronomy club will meet this Friday night from 6-8pm at Almond campus, Room 249.  If clear, we will view the Moon and Jupiter.  If cloudy, we will have a games night of socializing and fun.  Bring a friend and join the fun. (Nelson)

BASKETBALL OPEN GYM FOR GIRLS - There will be basketball open gym for girls tonight, Thursday, October 14 from 3:30-5pm in the O'Plaine gym. No playing experience is required and all are welcome. Basketball tryouts start in 2 weeks. See Coach Swanson or Coach Skidmore at O'Plaine if you have any questions. (Stanczykiewicz)

FBLA OCTOBER GENERAL MEETING - The FBLA October General Meeting is tonight, Thursday, October 14th, at 7:15pm in the O'plaine Auditorium. The meeting will cover upcoming events and have a guest speaker. The theme is Halloween, so come dressed up in your favorite costume. (Vranek)

SOUTH ASIAN STUDENT ASSOCIATION - Join us today, Thursday, October 14th in room 210 at O'Plaine from 3:20-4:00 for Jeopardy! Learn about South Asian culture through our game! There will be food and the winners will get a prize! (Cordova)

FRENCH HONOR SOCIETY MEETING - French Honor Society members should attend a meeting today, Thursday, October 14, in room 218 after school to prepare for the induction ceremony on October 21, as well as other events for the semester. (Kosonen)

COLLEGE APPLICATION HELP - Seniors! Many of you are crunching out your college applications. Keep up the good work! Please make sure to request your transcripts in Maia Learning or invite your counselor to your Common App by October 15th to meet a November 1st deadline. Letters of recommendation also need to be requested by October 15th as well. Stop by the College and Career Center during your lunch period for assistance. (McGahan)

LET’S GET READY FOR FAFSA! - Do you have questions about FAFSA or just need help creating your FSA ID? Then plan to bring your Social Security number and your computer to the College and Career Center during your lunch period on Friday, October 15th. We will have a FAFSA overview and discuss the items you will need to complete the FAFSA application. Most importantly, you will create your student FSA ID. (McGahan)
