HOMECOMING ROYALTY NOMINATIONS - Starting today thru Friday you can nominate 6 students from your grade to represent your class in the homecoming court. You can vote using the link on canvas.  You can only vote for students in your grade level. (Lainio)

ASTRONOMY CLUB - Join the Astronomy Club this coming Friday night at 6pm til 8pm in Room 249, Almond Road Campus.  We will meet LIVE and IN PERSON  to get in some telescope time (weather permitting) or watch some awesome video about  The Cosmos.  Food will not be served, so eat before you come.  All are welcome! FBLA SEPTEMBER GENERAL MEETING - The FBLA September meeting is tonight, Wednesday, September 15th at 7 pm in the OP auditorium. There will be a guest speaker and information on upcoming volunteer and social events. The theme is pajamas, so come dressed in comfy clothes. (Vranek)

GIRLS CROSS COUNTRY FUNDRAISER - Support the Warren Girls Cross Country team by ordering some food from Lou Malnati's Pizzaria in Gurnee/Grayslake today,  Wednesday, 9/15 from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM. SOUTH ASIAN STUDENT ASSOCIATION - Join us Thursday, September 16th from 3:20-4:00 pm in room 210 at O'Plaine! To explore the country, AFGHANISTAN! Learn about what's happening in Afghanistan! STUDENTS OF SERVICE PEN PAL LETTERS ARE DUE THIS FRIDAY! - Hello S.O.S. members. Those of you who have signed up to be a Senior pen-pal through our contact at Mercy Hospital please submit your letters to Mrs. Juergensen in room 308A (or place them in the SOS box outside her door) no later than THIS Friday, Sept. 17th. MINI CAREER EXPLORATION WORKSHOP - Not sure what you might want to pursue as a potential future career? Looking for some guidance on researching careers? Take the first step and attend our mini Career Exploration Workshop on Thursday, 9/16 during your lunch study hall period in the College and Career Center (Room 258). It’s not too early to begin thinking about what comes next for you! Plan to arrive on time, as we will get started right away. (Hartley)

ALMOND STUDENTS! - Colleges are meeting in-person with our junior and senior interested students in the College and Career Center! Students are able to miss 3 academic classes per semester to attend a college visit in the CCC. If you attend during a lunch or study hall period, this does not count towards your 3. Then plan to attend our annual Financing Your College Education Presentation for senior families on Thursday, September 16th at 7pm in the O'Plaine Auditorium.
