ASTRONOMY CLUB

The Astronomy Club will meet tonight at 6pm in Almond Campus Room 249.  Come get the latest in Science news and see what’s new with NASA for 2020.  We will watch the film Contact, in which an alien signal is received from outer space.  How would the world react to such an event?  Join us and find out.  Bring $5 for pizza hut and soda.  (Nelson)

WALLFLOWER CLUB

Are you new to this school? Do you just need a buddy? Perhaps you just wanna break out of your shell and meet new people? Then the Wallflowers club is for you. We meet every Monday from 2:20-3:00pm at Almond Campus in room #241 and at 3:20-4:00pm at O'Plaine campus in the faculty cafeteria. There will be games, crafts, bonding exercises and snacks. Feel free to stop by anytime. All students are welcome!!! (Neal)

GIRL’S TRACK AND FIELD OPEN GYMS

Open Gym for Girls Track and Field will be meeting Tuesday's and Thursday's at the O'Plaine campus weight room from 3:30 to 4:30. All athletes are welcome to join. (Buddell)

TECH TEAM

The next Tech Team meeting is on Monday, January 13. We will be sharing ideas for this semester, including an after school movie for the end of January. We meet after school in O’Plaine Room 258 from 3:20 until 4:00. All are welcome, and late bus passes are available. (Ferrara)

GIRLS’ WATER POLO INFORMATIONAL MEETING

Attention anyone interested in girls water polo, there will be a mandatory informational meeting today at 3:30 in the lecture hall. We will be discussing offseason conditioning, open pools and more. If you are interested but not able to attend the meeting, please contact Coach Zink or Coach Wright. (Wright)

GIRLS’ BADMINTON

Any Girls interested in playing a fast moving, climate controlled sport.  We have the answer, BADMINTON.  Come join us as we prepare for the upcoming season.  Conditioning sessions are on Tuesdays and Thursdays  3:20- 4:20. O’Plaine gym hallway.  We also have OPEN GYM times on Wednesday Evenings Jan.15, 22, 29th  6:30 pm- 8pm. O’Plaine Badminton complex (GYM)   No racket? NO PROBLEM we will let you borrow one of ours.  Come join in on all the fun. (Filippo)

SOFTBALL OFF-SEASON INFORMATIONAL MEETING

Attention any girl interested in trying out for softball in the spring, there will be an informational meeting about the off-season on Monday, January 13th at 3:30 in the O'Plaine lecture hall. We will discuss the schedule and general try out information. Late bus passes will be available. If you are in a winter sport you do not need to attend. VOLLEYBALL OPEN GYM

SUMMER SCHOOL REGISTRATION

For students interested in summer school, online summer school registration begins on Monday, January 13 at 7:30 am and will be first come first served.  Registration will be completed online through the WTHS home page by going to the Online Fee Payment Site. In order to register, you will need your ID number.  Summer School will begin on June 1 and run through July 18.  (Karasek)

OFF-CAMPUS PASSES

Students: Are you leaving campus early for any reason? If so please make sure your parent or guardian calls the Attendance line at least an hour ahead of time. Please make sure to come pick up your Off Campus Pass at the Attendance office before school or during passing periods. (Munoz)

FRESHMAN CHROMEBOOKS – UPDATE ON THE GLITCH

Attention all Freshman Chromebook Users: As promised last semester, Dell and Google have designed a software update to fix the power issues you've been having this year. Instructions were sent to your Warren email address by Assistant Principal Kupfer on Wednesday afternoon. Please make sure to read the instructions carefully. We need to let Dell know our status as soon as possible, so update your devices right away. It's very easy to do - you only have to click five buttons and read a number. If you are having trouble, see Miss Cree in Room 250 for help. (Cree)

UPPER CLASSMEN BOYS TENNIS CANDIDATES

Attention all Junior and Senior Boys Tennis candidates. There will be a pre-season conditioning meeting held on Wednesday, January 15th at 2:30 in room 215. LOANER CHROMEBOOKS AND CHARGERS

Please return the Daily Loaner Chromebooks or chargers to the Technology Clerk in the Library. Students will be charged a fee after the 2nd day if the Daily Loaner devices are not returned. Thank you! (Technology)

GRADUATION SPEECHES

Attention Seniors-All graduating seniors are invited to compete for an opportunity to speak at the Commencement Ceremony. If you are interested in making an address at Commencement, an application can be picked up from Mrs. Timan in the Principal’s office, room 204.
