SOFTBALL OFF-SEASON INFORMATIONAL MEETING

Attention any girl interested in trying out for softball in the spring, there will be an informational meeting about the off-season on Monday, January 13th at 3:30 in the O'Plaine lecture hall. We will discuss the schedule and general try out information. Late bus passes will be available. If you are in a winter sport you do not need to attend. If you cannot make the meeting and would like information, please see Coach Charbonneau. (Charbonneau)

VOLLEYBALL OPEN GYM

There will be a volleyball open gym on Friday, 1/10 at Almond Field House from 3:45pm - 5:30pm. If you have any questions, please contact coach Chen. (Chen)

RED CROSS CLUB

Hi Red Cross Members, we hope you had a good break. We wanted to say that our first meeting for the semester will be on January 15 in Room 213 at the O’Plaine Campus from 3:20-4:00 pm. We’ll be talking about our agenda for the semester as well as play fun games. There will be food! (Dalrymple)

Pride Club will be meeting this Thursday after school at the O'Plaine Campus in room 103. New members are always welcome! (Lidskin)

FBLA JANUARY GENERAL MEETING

The FBLA January General Meeting is tonight, January 8th from 7-8 pm in the O'Plaine Auditorium. There will be a panel of former FBLA students to answer your questions about FBLA and college. Wear your favorite college attire. (Vranek)

SUMMER SCHOOL REGISTRATION

For students interested in summer school, online summer school registration begins on Monday, January 13 at 7:30 am and will be first come first served.  Registration will be completed online through the WTHS home page by going to the Online Fee Payment Site. In order to register, you will need your ID number.  Summer School will begin on June 1 and run through July 18.  (Karasek)

 

O’PLAINE CAMPUS

OFF-CAMPUS PASSES

Students: Are you leaving campus early for any reason? If so please make sure your parent or guardian calls the Attendance line at least an hour ahead of time. Please make sure to come pick up your Off Campus Pass at the Attendance office before school or during passing periods. (Munoz)

STUDY TABLE CHANGE

Beginning this semester, Study Table will be on Monday and Thursday from 3:15-4:00 in the Library. The first session will be Thursday, January 9th. (Kupfer)

SOPHOMORE SEMINAR

Attention all sophomores. We have sophomore seminar today during all lunch study hall periods. Please report directly to the auditorium. (Bertola)

ATTENTION BASEBALL PLAYERS

Attention baseball players. There will be open gyms for lower level baseball players every Tuesday night from 6-7:30pm in the OP fieldhouse. The cost is $2.  (Stocker)

MAKE-UP EXAMS ALMOND

MAKE UP EXAMS-ALMOND CAMPUS Exams will be offered at the Almond Campus in Room 211 from 2:25 p.m. – 3:35 p.m. on the following dates:

  • Today, Wednesday, January 8, 2020
  • Thursday, January 9, 2020

 You are responsible for your own transportation home on these days. (Timan)

GRADUATION SPEECHES

Attention Seniors-All graduating seniors are invited to compete for an opportunity to speak at the Commencement Ceremony. If you are interested in making an address at Commencement, an application can be picked up from Mrs. Timan in the Principal’s office, room 204. Applications received by Friday, February 21, 2020 will be considered by the screening committee. (Timan)
