STUDENT EXCHANGE INFORMATIONAL MEETING

Any students interested in getting information about the International Student Exchange Program sponsored by the Gurnee Rotary should attend a meeting on Thursday evening, October 10 at 6:30 p.m. in the Main Office Conference Room at the O’Plaine Campus.  Short term exchange opportunities over the summer  will be discussed.  Your parents are encouraged to attend as well!  Contact Dr. Ahlgrim in the Superintendent’s Office with questions. BLACK STUDENT UNION MEETING

Don't forget to attend the Black Student Union meeting today at 3:30-4:45pm in the O'Plaine commons area. There will be announcements about future volunteer opportunities and planning for the Black History Showcase. Everyone's welcome, so come join the fun and bring a friend or two! (Pulec)

BOYS BASKETBALL OPEN GYM

The Boys Basketball Program will be hosting Open Gyms tonight and Thursday night this week. Open Gyms will be held in the Almond Gym from 7 - 8:30pm. Open Gym is only for Warren students and the cost is $1. Bring your Warren ID and $1. (Jasnoch)

SOUTH ASIAN STUDENT ASSOCIATION

Are you interested in learning about Hinduism? You're in luck because SASA will have its next meeting this Thursday, October 10th, at the O'Plaine campus in Room 210. All are welcome and late bus passes will be provided. (Cordova)

MECS MEETING

There will be a MECS meeting on Wednesday, October 9, 2019 at 3:20pm in the O'Plaine Lecture Hall. We will be organizing the adopt-a-trail clean-up and taking our yearbook photo. Hope to see you there and bring a friend. (Boncher)

ART CLUB

BASKETBALL OPEN GYM FOR GIRLS

There will be basketball open gym for girls this week on Wednesday, October 9th, from 7pm-9pm at the Almond Gym. (Stanczykiewicz)

GIRLS LACROSSE INFORMATIONAL MEETING

If you are interested in learning more about playing girls lacrosse, requirements for tryouts, and want information on our upcoming fall open gyms, please plan to attend our Girls Lacrosse Fall Informational Meeting at 4pm TODAY in Almond 211. See Coach Blakemore with any questions. (Blakemore)

GIRLS SOCCER INFORMATIONAL MEETING

All girls who are interested in playing high school soccer this spring should attend the girls’soccer info meeting today in the O’Plaine Lecture hall. The meeting will start at 3:30. If you are in a fall sport or unable to attend please email Coach McCabe to get the info. (R. McCabe)

TABLETOP GAMING CLUB

Are you a gamer? If so stop by the Tabletop Gaming Club at O’Plaine in room 302 today from 3:25 to 5:00 pm and play some of the best board games you've never heard of. We're choosing our custom dice for this year, so stop by and vote. Late bus passes will be provided. All are welcome. (Harkins)

SOPHOMORE FIRST GEN WORKSHOP

SOPHOMORES: Are you the first in your family planning to attend a 2- or 4-year college or university? If so, and neither of your parents received a college degree, then YOU are considered “FIRST GENERATION” or “FIRST GEN!” The Library is hosting our next Sophomore First Gen Workshop on Wednesday, October 9 during 4th period, titled “Choosing a College." ALL FIRST GEN SOPHOMORES ARE WELCOME TO ATTEND! Attendance will be taken. (Hartley)

TEXTBOOK DAMAGE ASSESSMENT FORM REMINDER

Reminder to fill out the Fall Semester Textbook Assessment Form for any damaged textbooks you have by Friday, October 11th! You will be able to find the online Assessment Form on the Warren web page: www.d121.org. Go to “Academics” then to “Academic Resources” and then to “Textbooks”.
