DEVILETTE OPEN PRACTICE

Interested in seeing what Devilettes is all about? Come to the second Devilette open gym on Tuesday, April 16 th from 6:30-7:30pm in the almond gym to practice kicks, leaps, turns, and tricks. This will help prepare you for tryouts! (Reuss)

WARREN READS

Attention all Warren Reads members: Our next meeting will be Wednesday, April 17th at 3:20 in room 220 at the O'Plaine Campus. We will be discussing Will Grayson, Will Grayson. See Ms. Ganshirt or Mrs. Hunter for more information. See you there! (Ganshirt)

OPEN MIC NIGHT

Creations is hosting an Open Mic Night on April 12th from 7-10pm, and we want everyone to come! Whether you want to sing, dance, or juggle fire, or just watch your friends do those things, Open Mic Night is a great place to enjoy yourself and support all the talented individuals here at Warren. We'll see you all the night of April 12th in the Almond Black Box theater for Open Mic Night! (Knutson)

YEARBOOKS

There are a small number of yearbooks still available for purchase. They can be bought with a credit card through the online fee payment link from the school’s web page OR students can bring cash to the bookkeeper at either campus. They are now $75 and when we sell out, they will be gone. If you wait until they arrive in May, it might be too late.  (Logan-Hay)

MECS MEETING

There will be a MECS meeting today in the O'Plaine Lecture Hall at 3:20pm. We will be planning the Des Plaines River clean-up so please try to attend. Hope to see you there and bring a friend. (Boncher)

CHEERLEADING TRYOUTS INFORMATIONAL MEETING

Are you interested in trying out for Cheerleading? If so, there will be an informational meeting on Tuesday, April 16th at 6pm in room 211 at the Almond Campus. All boys and girls are welcome to attend. At the meeting, we will discuss the entire tryout process, answer questions, and pass out all necessary forms. DEVILETTE TRY-OUTS APRIL 22nd, 23rd, 25th and 26th

Interested in trying out for the Devilettes?! Tryouts start April 22nd and go all week. You must attend tryouts on all days and have the required paperwork. Hope to see you there! (Reuss)

 

O’PLAINE CAMPUS

LOST AND FOUND CLEAN UP

Attention students - the lost and found located in the attendance office will be cleaned out on Friday, April 12th. If you are missing sweaters/jackets, water bottles, lunch bags or other items, please stop by the attendance office during passing period, study hall, before or after school to see if any of the many items are yours. Any item not claimed by end of the day Friday, April 12 will be donated. (Young)

SPANISH CLUB CHANGE OF LOCATION

The last Spanish Club of the year will be held today. We will be learning about Semana Santa and making a fun craft. Due to testing at O'Plaine that day, Spanish Club will be at Almond, from 2:20 - 3:00. You may take the 1:50 activity bus to Almond.  You will have to arrange for your own transportation home. Attention all Spanish students! Do you need help with Spanish class? Come to Spanish Resource in the O'Plaine Library on Thursdays from 3:20-4:00pm. There, Spanish National Honor Society members will be available to explain concepts, help you with speaking, or help with any homework you may have! All are welcome!  (Gustafson)

 

ALMOND CAMPUS

CEC APRIL PLANNING MEETING

The Council for Exceptional Children Club will hold the April Planning Meeting this Thursday, April 11th from 2:30 pm - 3:00 pm in room 320. Please join to brainstorm the fun! (Vandervort)

PROM INFO!

Prom tickets will be on sale April 8-11 ONLY. It will be $115 for Warren students and $130 for a non-WTHS guest. No exceptions and no refunds. Tickets will be available for pick up in the Almond cafeteria May 8th and 9th during lunch and study halls only. Make sure to fill out the table request form online. **If you haven't already, please sign up for Remind 101- text 81010 and put @wthsprom19 in the message for updates and reminders!**  (Tibey)
