WARREN WELLNESS AMBASSADORS

Warren Wellness Ambassadors will meet this Thursday at 3:20 in the Faculty Cafeteria at the O’plaine Campus. We will continue planning our 4th quarter topic. New members are always welcome. Hope to see you there!  (Tragarz)

AVANZA, FUTURE LATINO LEADERS

We will be meeting this Thursday in the O'Plaine lecture hall. Remember that new members are always welcomed so bring a friend! Late bus passes will be available. (Rangel/Bravo)

MECS MEETING

There will be a MECS meeting today at 3:20pm in the O'Plaine Lecture Hall. We will be planning the Des Plaines river clean-up so please try to attend. Hope to see you there and bring a friend. (Boncher)

FBLA MARCH GENERAL MEETING

The FBLA March General Meeting will be tonight from 7-8 pm in the O'Plaine Lecture Hall. If you are interested in being an officer for the 2019-2020 school year, information on the different positions will be provided. Wear green to celebrate the upcoming St. Patrick's Day. (Vranek)

O’PLAINE CAMPUS

FRESHMEN FIRST GEN WORKSHOP

Are you the first child of your family to seek to attend a 4 year university or 2 year college after high school? Have neither of your parents received at least an associate’s degree? Then YOU are considered FIRST GEN! Our final freshmen first gen workshop will be today during 3rd period in the Library titled “Goal Setting”. See you then! (McGahan)

WEST POINT INFORMATIONAL SESSION

West Point Cadet and Warren alum, Jack McCullough, will be here today in the College and Career Center during 5th period to talk about the application process and life as a cadet at West Point Academy. Students interested in learning about the application process to any of the Service Academies should plan to attend this informative meeting. Jack will share helpful information for what you can be doing as a freshmen or sophomore to improve your chances for an academy appointment. To attend, sign-up with the link in your WTHS email. SOPHOMORE COLLEGE VISITS

On Thursday, March 14th, we will have 4 colleges visiting our O'Plaine Campus to meet with interested Sophomores in the College and Career Center. As a reminder, in order to attend, students must be passing all of their classes and sign-up ahead of time with the signupgenius.com link in your WTHS email. Period 1 is Lake Forest College, Period 7 is Southern Illinois University at Carbondale and Period 8 is Ball State University and Colorado State University. Questions? Contact your counselor. S.O.S.

The Students of Service is holding a general meeting after school today in room 308A. We have a guest speaker from the American Heart Association scheduled to speak to us about a fundraising opportunity. We are asking members to show up and give input for ideas related to an O’Plaine all-campus competition! Snacks will be provided so bring a friend! (Juergensen)

Attention all Spanish students! Do you need help with Spanish class? Come to Spanish Resource in the O'Plaine Library on Thursdays from 3:20-4:00pm. There, Spanish National Honor Society members will be available to explain concepts, help you with speaking, or help with any homework you may have! All are welcome!  (Gustafson)

JOSTEN ANNOUNCEMENT ORDER DELIVERY
