WINTER GUARD TAKES FIRST

Congratulations to the Varsity Winter Guard for their first place win at the Midwest Color Guard Circuit contest at Lake Park Saturday. In their previous contest, the team made it into the Finals at the Winter Guard International Chicago Regional in their first time attending this event! This WGI contest featured winter guards from seven different states. Our JV Winter Guard took first in 2 out of 3 contests this year, competing against some varsity high school teams. They were promoted up to the next class based on their score at the Hersey contest. Great job all members!  (Jenkins)

WARREN WELLNESS AMBASSADORS

Warren Wellness Ambassadors will meet this Thursday at 3:20 in the Faculty Cafeteria at the O’plaine Campus. We will continue planning our 4th quarter topic. New members are always welcome. Hope to see you there!  (Tragarz)

AVANZA, FUTURE LATINO LEADERS

We will be meeting this Thursday in the O'Plaine lecture hall. Remember that new members are always welcomed so bring a friend! Late bus passes will be available. (Rangel/Bravo)

MECS MEETING

There will be a MECS meeting on Wednesday March 13, 2019 at 3:20pm in the O'Plaine Lecture Hall. We will be planning the Des Plaines river clean-up so please try to attend. Hope to see you there and bring a friend. (Boncher)

FBLA MARCH GENERAL MEETING

The FBLA March General Meeting will be on Wednesday, March 13th from 7-8 pm in the O'Plaine Lecture Hall. If you are interested in being an officer for the 2019-2020 school year, information on the different positions will be provided. Wear green to celebrate the upcoming St. Patrick's Day. (Vranek)

TABLETOP GAMING CLUB

Are you a gamer? If so stop by the Tabletop Gaming Club at O’Plaine in room 302 today from 3:15 to 5:00 pm and play some of the best board games you've never heard of. Late bus passes will be provided. All are welcome. (Harkins)

FRESHMEN FIRST GEN WORKSHOP

Are you the first child of your family to seek to attend a 4 year university or 2 year college after high school? Have neither of your parents received at least an associate’s degree? Then YOU are considered FIRST GEN! Our final freshmen first gen workshop will be on Wednesday, March 13th during 3rd period in the Library titled “Goal Setting”. See you then! (McGahan)

WEST POINT INFORMATIONAL SESSION

West Point Cadet and Warren alum, Jack McCullough, will be here on Wednesday, March 13th in the College and Career Center during 5th period to talk about the application process and life as a cadet at West Point Academy. Students interested in learning about the application process to any of the Service Academies should plan to attend this informative meeting. Jack will share helpful information for what you can be doing as a freshmen or sophomore to improve your chances for an academy appointment. To attend, sign-up with the link in your WTHS email. Christians In Action is a faith-based club that includes fellowship, prayer, discussion, games, service events, and more. We will meet tomorrow at 7:30am in Room 241. Please join us - it is open to everybody! (Dunn)

The Students of Service is holding a general meeting on Wed. March 13th after school in room 308A. We have a guest speaker from the American Heart Association scheduled to speak to us about a fundraising opportunity.
