SKI CLUB

Attention all ski club members! Registration for our last trip to Wilmot opens today. Please visit the ski club website to register for this trip if you plan on attending. The registration for this trip closes on Tuesday, February 12th. (Burza)

TECH TEAM MEETING

TABLETOP GAMING CLUB

Attention gamers, stop by the Tabletop Gaming Club at O’Plaine in room 302 Tuesday from 3:15 to 5:00 pm and play some of the best board games you've never heard of. We are discussing this year's club shirts at our next meeting. Late bus passes will be provided. All are welcome. (Harkins)

BOYS’ VOLLEYBALL TRYOUT INFORMATION / OPEN GYM

BOYS’ WATER POLO INFORMATIONAL MEETING

DISTRICT PROJECT TO HONOR FALLEN IL STATE TROOPER

This week, teachers in the Social Studies department will be asking students who are interested to write notes of support or create artwork on pre-printed letterhead for the family of IL State Trooper Lambert, who died in the line of duty two weeks ago. Our goal is to collect 500 letters, which will later be bound into a book and given to Trooper Lambert’s wife as a show of support and respect for husband’s service. (Juergensen)

SOPHOMORE COUNSELOR SEMINAR

The Counselors will be hosting a Seminar for all Sophomore students Friday, today in the Auditorium during periods 3A, 4B, 5A & 6B. Students should report directly to the Auditorium. The topic discussed will be “planning for your future. (McGahan)

WALLFLOWER CLUB

Freshman and Sophomores, Are you ready to meet new people? The Wall Flower Club from Almond Campus is thrilled to join you each Monday after school in the Staff Lounge at the back of the O'Plaine cafeteria with the goal of making new friends. We meet from 3:25 until 4. (Neal)

EKG SCREENING

The Max Schewitz Foundation will be offering EKG screening to all O’Plaine students on Wednesday, February 20th.  The EKG will help find hidden heart conditions that otherwise would go undetected. ALMOND CAMPUS

SEAL OF BILITERACY EXAM

If you registered to take the Seal of biliteracy test, remember that your test is this Saturday, February 9th . The test will take place at the Almond Campus, and will begin promptly at 8:00am. Plan to arrive no later than 7:40am. Your Testing Room assignments are the same. Don’t forget to bring your ID and do not bring your Cell phones in the testing rooms. (Rangel)

FRENCH HONOR SOCIETY MEETING AND YEARBOOK PICTURE

Our February meeting will be held on Monday, February 11. Please wear your French Honor Society tee-shirt for our yearbook picture. We will be having French conversation while eating treats and learning about how the francophone world celebrates Valentine's Day. (Kosonen)
