SASA MEETING

South Asian Student Association will have its next meeting on Thursday, January 17th in room 210 at the O'Plaine Campus at 3:15. We'll be watching videos on and discussing India's politics, economy, and society. Everyone is welcome and late bus passes will be provided. (Cordova)

GIRLS SOCCER CONDITIONING

Girls’ soccer will host conditioning in the O’Plaine Fieldhouse from 3:30-4:30 today. (R. McCabe)

SUMMER SCHOOL REGISTRATION

For students interested in summer school, online summer school registration begins on Monday, January 14 at 7:30 am and will be first come first served.  Registration will be completed online through the WTHS home page by going to the Online Fee Payment Site. In order to register, you will need your ID number.  Summer School will begin on June 3rd and run through July 11th. (Karasek)

PRIDE CLUB

Pride Club will meet today after school in room 103. All are welcome! (Lidskin)

VEGAN CLUB

The Vegan Club will meet again today, at 3:20, in room 234 at the O'Plaine campus. We will be planning our cupcake wars. Late bus passes will be provided. (Rodbro)

SOFTBALL INFORMATIONAL MEETING

Anyone not in a winter sport interested in trying out for softball there will be an important informational meeting Monday January 14th at 3:30 in the O'Plaine lecture hall. We will be discussing tryouts and off season workouts. If you cannot attend contact Coach Charbonneau for more information. (Charbonneau)

BOYS LACROSSE FUNDRAISER

Attention Boys Lacrosse: Due this Friday, all boys’ lacrosse players need to turn in either their money or their remaining tickets for the Face Off Fundraiser. Money or tickets are due to Coach Eddy at Almond or Coach Janczak at O'Plaine. (Janczak)

BOYS VOLLEYBALL OPEN GYM

Volleyball Open Gym is cancelled for today. Next open gym will be on Friday 1/18. (Chen)

STUDENT COUNCIL APPLICATIONS

Attention to anyone interested in Student Council – we are extending the deadline for applying to Student Council for the 2019-20 School year.  If you are interested in applying, you may pick up application information from your counselor, or contact Mrs. Lainio (dlainio@wths.net) at O’Plaine, or Mr. Karnstedt (pkarnstedt@wths.net) at Almond. FRESHMEN SEMINAR

Attention all freshman. You have your first seminar for second semester this Friday, January 11th, during your lunch study hall. Please report directly to the auditorium during you lunch study hall on Friday. (Bertola)

MAKE-UP EXAMS – O’PLAINE CAMPUS

MAKE UP EXAMS-O’PLAINE CAMPUS- Exams will be offered at the O’Plaine Campus in the testing center from 3:25 p.m. to 4:40 p.m. on the following dates:

  • Today, Thursday, January 10, 2019
  • Tuesday, January 15, 2019
  • Wednesday, January 16, 2019

There is a late bus on Tuesday, January 15 at 4:45 pm only. There is a late bus at 4:00 pm on Wednesdays and Thursdays. If you need to stay later on those days, you are responsible for your own transportation home. (Spino)

ATTENTION ALL STUDENTS

In order to park in the Parking lot at O’Plaine, you MUST have a parking permit.  If you do not have a parking permit, your car could be towed.  If you want a parking permit application, please see Mrs. Tiedt in the Dean’s office. (Shea)

Freshman and Sophomores: Do you want to make friends and meet new people? Come to the Wallflower Club meetings on Monday after school from 3:30 til 4 in the Teacher's Break Room in the back of the cafeteria. (Neal)

S.O.S. will hold their first general meeting next week, on Wed., Jan. 16th in room 308A beginning at 3:25 PM. We will be discussing first semester accomplishments and accepting ideas for volunteer outings this semester. New members are welcome! (Juergensen)

PSAT

Juniors. If you have not picked up your PSAT results please do so before the end of the day Friday, January 11. Friday is the last date to obtain paper copies of your test results. (Paulus)

SPANISH NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY MEMBERSHIP MEETING

Attention all SNHS Members! Just a reminder that there is a general meeting on Monday, January 14th right after school in room 117.
