ABC COUNTDOWN: THURSDAY'S THEME IS: RHYME WITHOUT REASON FOR THE LETTER R!

Grab a friend and dress as things that rhyme but don’t match. IE: Waiter and Skater or PJ and DJ, etc.  

FILM CLUB MEETING CANCELLED

The film club meeting that was supposed to be held today, Wednesday May 6, has been cancelled.  We will resume our meetings again in the fall.   If you are interested in getting involved in film club next year, please see or email Ms. Zarnstorff. (J. Zarnstorff)

GIRLS SWIMMING & DIVING INFORMATIONAL MEETING 

Did you miss out on a fall sport and want to get involved next school year? The Girls Swimming and Diving Team will be hosting an informational meeting for the Fall 2026 season on May 11 at 3:30 PM in Room 200A at the O’Plaine Campus. We will cover camp information and important updates for the upcoming season. Bring a friend—we hope to see you there! E-SPORTS LAST MEETING

Come celebrate a great year of E-Sports with a potluck and movie day! Whether you competed, went to state, won at state, or just came for fun, we hope to see all gamers at our next meeting, Tuesday, May 12th, in room 258 at O'Plaine's College and Career Center. Bring something to share or bring $5 if you want to participate in the feast! (Duff)

CREATIVE WRITING CLUB: SENIOR SEND OFF

Creative Writing Club will be meeting in our usual room, OP221, this week for our end-of-year party and senior send-off.  If you've been busy lately and have missed meetings, not to worry, you are still welcome. We will be presenting our seniors with a special honor, introducing new officers, and holding our annual raffle. See you there! (Thomas)

MECS SHOE & TEXTILE RECYCLING CONTEST

Attention all students! Do you have old clothes or pairs of shoes to recycle? The Mother Earth’s Concerned Students club, MECS, is hosting a school recycling contest THIS WEEK from May 4 to 8. All you have to do is bring in your shoes, textiles, or clothing items to your second period class. The top 3 classes with the most items win a donut party! Your teachers will collect your items in class, and MECS will recycle them when the contest ends. Contact Mr. Boncher at aboncher@wths.net with any questions. Happy recycling! (Boncher)

TABLETOP GAMING CLUB

Today, Wednesday will be TGC's penultimate meeting for this school year. As has been the custom for the past 15 years, this will be "that special meeting before the Seniors dip out for the last time." Late bus passes provided. (Harkins)

COME BY THE S.O.S. END OF YEAR CELEBRATION NEXT TUESDAY! 

It is time to celebrate the Students of Service at our last general meeting on Tuesday, May 12th in the Blue Devil's Conference Room. The meeting will begin at 3:25 and go until 4:10. Bring your student IDs. Late bus passes will be available. We will have pizza and will be honoring members who completed their service requirements. We hope you can join us! (Juergensen)

PROM TICKET PICK UP!

If you purchased a ticket for this year’s All that Glitters is Gold Prom on Saturday, May 9th, you can pick up your ticket during your lunch period today, Wednesday  May 6th. You will need a valid photo ID to claim your ticket, no exceptions! If you are bringing an approved outside guest, you will be able to pick up their ticket at this time. (Maiden)
