GET YOUR TICKETS FOR THE SPRING MUSICAL

Warren Theatre's musical, Once Upon a Mattress, is this weekend! Join us on Friday, March 14th at 7pm or Saturday, March 15th at 2pm & 7pm for this hilarious retelling of "The Princess and the Pea." You will laugh out loud as Queen Aggravain tries to stop princesses from marrying her son, the prince only to have a princess from the swamp turn the kingdom upside down! Tickets are on GoFan and students should use their student ID number as the code at checkout to receive a free ticket to this event. FBLA COMMUNITY SERVICE BLANKET MAKING EVENT

SHAMROCK SHUTTLE

The girls Badminton program is hosting a Shamrock Shuttle event on Monday March 17th at the O'Plaine Gym after school until 6pm. Come play a game of badminton for $3. SPECIAL BULLETIN FROM YOUR ASTRONOMY CLUB

Special bulletin from your Astronomy Club.  This week, we will have a full lunar eclipse visible across North America .  It is completely safe to view with the naked eyes as long as weather is clear.  It should reach its peak around 2am Friday morning.  It should look like a dark red colored peach.  Very lovely to see!  Set an alarm for 1:45 am Friday morning and marvel at this celestial event! SNHS New Member Applications are officially available for sophomores and juniors! SNHS members forward to our fun cultural events and volunteering opportunities! WOMEN'S HISTORY MONTH MEETING

Join International Club today, Wednesday March 12th from 3:20-4:20 at the O'Plaine faculty cafeteria for their women's history month meeting. Late bus passes will be provided, and we hope to see everyone there! (Bohorquez)

Do you miss those Quince practices?  Are you planning a Quince?  Or have you never had the opportunity to attend one?  Come to Spanish Club and get the full Quinceañera experience from the dance to the dress. GIRLS WATER POLO

It's not too late!! Still want to get involved in a spring sport? Come out for water polo! No prior game experience or competitive swim experience is required. Register online and meet on the pool deck at 3:30pm with your suit and water bottle. Contact Coach Amrein with questions. (Amrein)

FBLA MARCH GENERAL MEETING

The FBLA March General Meeting tonight, Wednesday, March 12th from 7-8pm in the OP Lecture Hall.  If you are interested in being an officer for the 2025-2026 school year, information will be provided at the meeting on how to get more involved in the organization.  The theme is wear green.  Hope to see you there! MECS MEETING

There will be a MECS meeting today, Wednesday March 12, 2025 at 3:20pm in room 244. We will be continuing to plan our annual project. We will also be processing the shoe donations for the reuse a shoe donation so remember to bring in your shoe donations to do your part. Hope to see you there and bring a friend. (Boncher)

PROM TICKETS

Prom Tickets go on sale starting this Thursday, March 13. All juniors and seniors planning to attend prom need to purchase their ticket by April 1 (there will be no late ticket sales). SCHOLARSHIP DUE DATE EXTENDED FOR WTHS-FEDERATION OF TEACHERS MS. SHIELDS MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP 2025

Scholarship Award of $500 will be presented to a graduating senior enrolled in the English Language Learner Program who is planning to continue their education at a vocational school, trade school, technical school, community college or 4 year College or  university,  Apply in  Schoolinks by Monday, March 17, 2025.  Contact Mrs. McGahan in the College and Career Center with Questions. VOTE FOR A STAFF MEMBER TO GET PIED ON PI DAY

The SOS Women's History Month/Pi Day Fundraiser is back! This year the staff member YOU choose will get pied on Friday, March 14th. The way you vote is with your wallet! Bring cash donations to the SOS table during lunch period on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. The teacher who has the most money donated on their behalf will get pied! All proceeds will go to Lake County Haven, a women's shelter for homeless women and children. Thank you to all those who participate! (Duff)

SNHS ANNOUNCEMENTS

SNHS Members: Our March General Meeting is today, Wednesday, March 12th at 5pm. Immediately following, we will have a Potluck. Members MUST bring a homemade or store-bought dish in order to stay for the Potluck. We are excited to see you all there!
