MUSICAL MISCAST

Join Warren Theatre for a Musical Miscast Fundraiser on Friday, February 13th at 7 p.m. Performers will sing songs from musicals they’d never normally be cast in—expect big choices, dramatic flair, and lots of fun! Enjoy a night of entertainment while supporting our musical program, and bring extra cash for the bake sale. Tickets are $10 on GoFan or at the door. See you there! (Zimmerman)

FILIPINO AMERICAN STUDENT ASSOCIATION

Maligayang (pronounced: mal-e-ya-young) Valentines!! Join FASA for Valentines craft making at the O'Plaine Campus on February 10th 3:30-4:30pm in Room 237. Supplies will be provided but feel free to bring some of your own! (McElvain)

SOFTBALL TRYOUT INFORMATIONAL MEETING

Any girls interested in trying out for softball there will be an informational meeting on Monday February 9th at 3:30. The meeting will be held in the O'Plaine lecture hall. Please plan for your own ride home. (Charbonneau)

WARREN HOCKEY

Warren hockey is starting our playoffs this week and we have Home Games this weekend! Dates and times for the Playoff Games are: Friday the 6th  & Saturday the 7th, 9:30 pm at Top Shelf.  FREE to all! Hope to see you there! (Pier)

CANCER KIDS FIRST CLUB

Join WTHS Cancer Kids First in bringing fairytales and games to pediatric cancer patients through Once Upon a Toy! Our mission is to support the reading development of young patients while also bringing joy, fun, and a sense of magic through books and games.

We invite you to check out our Amazon Wishlist using the QR code or the link in our Instagram bio and consider purchasing a new book or game for children of all ages. All items will be going to pediatric cancer patients at the Advocate Children's Hospital. (Mohr)

MATH TEAM

Attention Math Team!  Our next meet is today,Thursday, February 5th. Please meet at the pool entrance of OP by 4:30 PM. If you are attending, please make sure to let Mrs. Stites or Mr. Vranek know! 

GIRLS LACROSSE OPEN GYM

Any girls interested in playing or learning lacrosse before our spring season are welcome to join our open gyms on Thursdays from 3:30-5pm that start in the OP Fieldhouse. Please grab information from outside room 317b at O'Plaine or room 234 at Almond for the full schedule of open gyms and what to expect! New players are always welcome and equipment is provided. Registration is now open for our trip to Wilmot Mountain on Friday, February 13th. Check your WTHS email for a private link to register before 3:15 today, Thursday, February 5th. (DeBaker)

 

O’PLAINE CAMPUS

ATTENTION STUDENTS OF SERVICE MEMBERS!

Our next general meeting is on Tuesday, February 10th after school in the Blue Devil's Conference room. We will have a guest speaker who will talk to us about the Blue Devil's Food Pantry, a summary of our most recent volunteer outings and upcoming events and finally we will have 2 fun Valentine's Day activities and some snacks! Have your IDs and chromebooks with you. Late bus passes will be provided. We hope to see you there! (Juergensen)

 

ALMOND CAMPUS

I’M FIRST WORKSHOP

Our next I'm First Workshop will be on Monday, February 9th during 4th period in the College and Career Center.  All interested junior or senior students who are the first in their family to go to college are welcome to attend!  For seniors we will focus on our WTHS scholarship applications, and juniors will talk about our upcoming field trip to UIC, virtual tours, planning college visits and registering for College Knowledge.  Contact Mrs. McGahan with questions. Gurnee Park District is hiring for SUMMER seasonal positions including, but not limited to: Lifeguards, Swim Instructors, Customer Service Representatives, Camp Counselors, and Grounds Team Members and will be outside the cafeteria today, THURSDAY, February 5th, during lunch periods 3-6. VOTER REGISTRATION DRIVE – YOUR VOICE MATTERS

Friday, February 6th in the cafeteria during all lunch periods. You may register if you: 1-Are a US citizen or naturalized citizen 2- Will be 18 years old on or before the next election (November 3. 2026) 3- Have two forms of ID (School ID and Driver’s License/State ID). It’s that easy! Please consider stopping by the table to register. Any 17-year old student who registers will be able to vote in the March 17, 2026 Primary Election. (Keeley/Ringa)
