LANGUAGE CELEBRATION

Do you know that our students speak over fifty languages at Warren? In honor of our diversity and to celebrate our languages we plan to say good morning in a different language our students speak each week.  This week, our language is Malayalam. Good morning in Malayalam is suprabhātaṁ.

Out of a highly competitive pool of applicants, these three stood out for their academic excellence and commitment. They’ll be representing our school at Abbott this summer, gaining hands-on experience in the professional world. Way to go, Rachel, Krish, and Aletheia! We know you’ll do us proud. (Greene)

MECS SHOE & TEXTILE RECYCLING CONTEST

Attention all students! Do you have old clothes or pairs of shoes to recycle? The Mother Earth’s Concerned Students club, MECS, is hosting a school recycling contest THIS WEEK from May 4 to 8. All you have to do is bring in your shoes, textiles, or clothing items to your second period class. The top 3 classes with the most items win a donut party! Your teachers will collect your items in class, and MECS will recycle them when the contest ends. Contact Mr. Boncher at aboncher@wths.net with any questions. Happy recycling! (Boncher)

JOIN WARREN’S CULTURAL ADVENTURES ABROAD!

Have you ever wanted to travel to the rainforest and experience an adventure of a lifetime? Join Warren’s Cultural Adventures as we travel to Costa Rica during Spring Break 2027! Explore the rainforest, go white water rafting, relax or snorkel at the beach, and connect with local communities. If you’re looking for adventure, then RSVP with the QR code on the flyers and bring a guardian to the informational meeting at the Oplaine lecture hall on May 14th at 6:30pm to get more information! TABLETOP GAMING CLUB

This Wednesday will be TGC's penultimate meeting for this school year. As has been the custom for the past 15 years, this will be "that special meeting before the Seniors dip out for the last time." Late bus passes provided. (Harkins)

WARREN READS UPDATE

We will not be meeting on Tuesday, May 5. We will be meeting on May 19 instead. (Hunter)

ATTENTION FILM ENTHUSIASTS!

Film club will be meeting in room 205 after school on Wednesday May 6.  Join us to talk about the latest movies and to see your fellow blue devils' short films from the festival and share any films you've been working on as well!  Popcorn and drinks will be provided. (J. Zarnstorff) 

PHILOSOPHY CLUB

Join us for Philosophy Club's final meeting of the year! Come discuss big ideas and plans for the future of the club. We'll meet after school in room 222 on Wednesday, May 6. Late bus passes will be provided. (Romig)

OP students please check your emails. We have sent reminders to pick up yearbooks to those who pre-ordered. Please pick up TODAY, MONDAY, outside the OP cafeteria. Forget to buy one? Go to the bookkeeper at either campus with $80 cash, check, or charge to get your copy. We have limited amounts available.  (Logan-Hay)

 

ALMOND CAMPUS

PROM TICKET PICK UP!

If you purchased a ticket for this year’s All that Glitters is Gold Prom on Saturday, May 9th, you can pick up your ticket during your lunch period today, Monday, May 4th or Tuesday, May 5th or Wednesday  May 6th. You will need a valid photo ID to claim your ticket, no exceptions! If you are bringing an approved outside guest, you will be able to pick up their ticket at this time. (Maiden)

I’M FIRST WORKSHOP

Our last workshop of the year will take place today, Monday, May 4th during 3rd period in the Almond College and Career Center.  All interested junior or senior students who are the first in their family to go to college are welcome to attend!  We will debrief from the ACT, register for College Knowledge, talk about financial literacy and celebrate our Seniors! SNHS MAY GENERAL MEETING

Please join Spanish National Honor Society for our final General Meeting of the year today, Monday, May 4th from 2:30-3:30pm, in room 117. We will celebrate our graduating seniors and watch Shrek 2 in Spanish while eating pizza. Semester hours sheets will be accepted at this meeting, and through Thursday, May 7th.
