SHORT FILM WORKSHOP
Are you interested in Film Making? Want to learn more about it. Join us for a Short Film Workshop on Wednesday from 3:30-5:30 in the O'Plaine Lecture Hall. We'll learn the basic tools of filmmaking, how to submit a short film to the school festival, and you'll have an opportunity to join Warren's Film Crew. Contact Mr. Miller for questions. (A. Miller)
GIRLS WATER POLO INFORMATIONAL MEETING
Are you interested in joining water polo this spring?! Come to our informational meeting on Tuesday January 14 in room 344 (OP) at 3:30-3:50pm. We will talk about pre-season skill building, conditioning and what to expect for the season. Athletes that have skills and knowledge of team sports (like basketball, volleyball, soccer, etc.) will be a great addition to the team. Email Coach Amrein (camrein@wths.net) with any questions. ASTRONOMY CLUB
The Astronomy Club meets tonight at 6pm, Almond Campus, Room 249. Join us for a game night of science trivia and science news. Come learn about what planets are visible in our skies right now and if clear, we will go out for a quick viewing session. Dress warmly! Bring $5 for pizza and soda. (Nelson)
TABLETOP GAMING CLUB
Attention gamers! The TGC custom dice for 24-25 have arrived. If you preordered dice, or are looking to buy some, join us in the O'Plaine Library after school on Monday the 13th for our first meeting this semester. TGC meets from 3:25 to 5pm on Mondays. There are no late busses. (Harkins)
OPEN MIC NIGHT PERFORMERS
Are you a musician, comedian, poet, dancer, or other performer? Sign up for Open Mic Night on Feb 21st at the Warren Township Center. You can find the sign up form on the Creations homepage or find a flier. (Knutson)
BOYS TRACK AND FIELD REGISTRATION
Attention all student athletes interested in joining the Boys Track and Field program for this upcoming season: registration is open! Tryouts and the season start date is January 21st. If you are interested in joining, please complete the registration through the WTHS athletic website. All athletes must have an active physical on file with the school nurse at either the O’Plaine or Almond campus and meet eligibility requirements. GIRLS TRACK AND FIELD
Any girls who are interested in Track and Field this Spring and are not currently in another sport, please plan on attending the team meeting next Tuesday at 3:20pm in the Oplaine Cafeteria. We will be going over important information related to the start of the season. Late bus passes will be provided for those who need one. Any questions, please reach out to Coach Malkowski. GIRLS WATER POLO PRE-SEASON
Are you interested in joining water polo this spring?! Pre-Season open pools are a great way to get in the water and learn skills needed for games. Open Pools will be on Wednesday mornings from 6-7:15am starting January 15th through the end of February. Open gyms for conditioning are after school from 3:30-4pm on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays starting on January 13th. Please email Coach Amrein with interest and questions. (Amrein)

I’M FIRST WORKSHOP
All junior or senior students who are the first in their family to attain a college degree are welcome to attend our next I’m First workshop on Monday, January 13th during 3rd period in the College & Career Center! We will welcome Ms. Meadowcroft, our College of Lake County Navigator to share about the CLC enrollment process and learn about our upcoming field trip to DePaul University! See you there! (McGahan)
COLLEGE FINANCIAL AID WORKSHOP
Seniors! If you need help completing your FAFSA or the Illinois Alternative Application to find funds for college, attend an evening family financial aid workshop in the Almond College and Career Center. Our next workshop is on Thursday, January 16th from 6-8pm. To sign-up, scan the QR code on the flyers around school or email Mrs. McGahan for the link.
