1. Updated End of Year School Calendar Reminder

Because of the emergency weather day used earlier this school year the school calendar has been adjusted.

  • May 20 - Will be a normal school day on a late start schedule.May 21, 22, and 26 - Will be cumulative assessments.

  • May 26 - Last day of the school year.

2. Cumulative Assessments Schedule

Cumulative Assessments will take place May 21, 22, 26. 

What you need to know:  

  • Cumulative assessments are taken according to their assigned dates and times.  

  • Cumulative assessments are not administered early.  

  • Make-up opportunities for excused absences are offered on May 22 and May 26, as well as during the summer by appointment.

  • Please see links above for the assessment schedule, transportation information, and student expectations for each campus.

3. Class of 2026 Graduation Information

Graduation information for the the Class of 2026 can be found on our website 

  • Senior Check-Out/Graduation Supply Pick-Up is May 14, from 10:00 a.m.-12:30 p.m. at the Almond Campus.

  • All students participating in the graduation ceremony need to attend Senior Check-Out / Graduation Supply Pick-Up.

  • The ceremony is Sunday, May 17, at 10:00 a.m. 

  • See the website for important commencement ceremony details and the NOW Arena information.

4. Registration for 2026-2027 School Year

Registration for the 2026-2027 school year will open Wednesday, May 13, 2026.  

Families planning to attend WTHS in August: 

  • Must register in the PowerSchool Parent Portal

  • Students can only be registered by their legal guardian (of student(s) primary household)

  • The deadline to register is July 23, 2026 BUT we ask you to register as soon as possible. 

Incoming Freshmen attending summer school: 

  • On-line registration and proof of residency must be completed before attending summer school

  • Summer School starts June 1

Please note:

  • The 2026-2027 fees are NOT due at time of registration.  Fee payment access will be available by August 1.  

  • Following a review of your registration documents, a confirmation email will be sent. Please allow 5-7 working days for the email to arrive. 

  • Students are not officially registered for the 2026-2027 school year until online registration is complete and residency has been approved.

5. Warren's Cultural Adventures is going to Costa Rica!

What is Warren's Cultural Adventures? A new international travel group offering students the opportunity to learn while traveling with EF Tours.

Where: WTHS is traveling to Costa Rica during spring break, 2027!

  • Sign up for the informational meeting with the RSVP link below to learn more information about the itinerary, the group leader, cost, and the tour company. Spots are limited!

  •  Meeting location: Thursday, May 14th at 6:30pm in the O'Plaine lecture hall.  RSVP link.

  • Open to current WTHS juniors, sophomores, freshman and incoming freshman (Class of 2028, 2029, and 2030)

6. Huntington ACT Summer Course

Students in the Class of 2026 who are planning on taking the ACT in the fall can register for an ACT Summer Course through Huntington Learning Center

  • The cost of the course is $600

  • Classes will run from July 6 to September 9

  • Registration Deadline is May 31
