Homecoming Week Events! 

M- Monday Morning Blues (PJ day)

A- Anything But a Backpack 

G- Greek Out (preppy) 

I- Inside Out (dress as an emotion or wear clothes inside out)

C- Colors Wars (O’P: Fr = Gold, So = Blue      Alm: Jr = Gold, Sr = Blue)

• Varsity: Friday, 9/27 7:30 pm   Theme: Once Upon a Homecoming
• JV: Friday, 9/27 5:00 pm

Saturday September 28th

• Homecoming Parade:  Parade will start at 9:00 a.m. in the Gurnee Police Department parking lot and head north on O'Plaine Road. The parade will conclude at the North lot of the O'Plaine Campus.
• Homecoming Dance: The dance will be held from 6:30 - 9:30 pm at the O'Plaine Campus Gym and outside in the parking lot.  There will be food trucks, dancing, games, a photo booth and more! 

• When: Saturday, September 28, 2024
  Time: 9:00 a.m  
  Where: Beginning at Gurnee Police Department parking lot and heading north on O'Plaine Road to the O'Plaine campus.  (The Homecoming parade route changed a couple years ago.) 

We hope to see our community out to support our Blue Devils this year!! 

• • The WTHS Homecoming "Once Upon a Homecoming" themed parade will start at 9:00 a.m. in the Gurnee Police Department West parking lot and head north on O'Plaine Road.
  • The parade will conclude at the North lot of the O'Plaine Campus.  

   

• If you are interested in participating in our parade please fill out the 2024 Parade Application form. Any WTHS organization/activity/sport or Community Organization interested in participating is invited to apply.
• All applications are due by Monday, September 23, 2024.   
• You will receive instructions and line up order on Wednesday the 25th by 4pm.
• The Homecoming parade will be held Saturday September 28, 2024 at 9 am with staging beginning at 8 am. 

Homecoming Dance Information: 

• The Homecoming dance will be held at the O'Plaine Campus on Saturday, September 28th from 6:30pm-9:30pm. 
• We will have an indoor/outdoor dance. 
• The indoor portion of the dance will be in the gym and have a DJ and dancing. 
• The outdoor portion of the dance will be in the parking lot and have food trucks (at an extra cost), free games and interactive activities, TWO photo booths, an outdoor dance area, and more! 
• Students are able to move freely from one area to another. 
• The Homecoming dance is a semi-formal event.

Homecoming Dance Ticket Sales:

• Only current WTHS students and Approved WTHS Alumni will be permitted entry to the dance. No other outside guests are allowed. Submit the Alumni Guest Form by Thursday, 9/19/24 for guest approval and look for an email with further instructions to purchase a guest ticket.
• Ticket sales will be available on Monday, September 9 through Wednesday, September 25, 2024 via the Webstore for $25.  Click here for tickets.
• Ticket sales are final. No refunds.

Homecoming Dance Alumni Request Form

• Only WTHS Alumni (under the age of 21) are permitted to attend the dance as a guest of a current WTHS student. 
• Submit this Alumni Guest Form by Thursday, 9/19/24 for guest approval.
• Once your guest has been approved you will receive an email with instructions.

Homecoming T-Shirt Sales:

• Homecoming T-shirts will be sold separately from the dance ticket.  Shirts will be available to purchase for $9 Monday, August 26 through September 6, 2024. Click here to order your 2024 Homecoming t-shirt!
