Honor Societies
The goal of the WTHS honor societies is to create an enthusiasm for scholarship, to stimulate a desire to render service, to promote leadership and to encourage the development of character in our students. In addition, our cultural honor societies aim to create an enthusiasm and understanding for culture and strive to promote international friendships.
During their junior year, student are invited to apply to be in National Honor Society. After students' applications are reviewed, they can be inducted. Members are expected to meet twice a semester and complete 10 hours of community service a semester. |

Students must meet Honor Society requirements, apply and be inducted. Application process begins in September. Participation in meetings, service activities, and taking the National French Exam are required for membership. |

Students must meet requirements, apply and be inducted. Applications are typically distributed in February for sophomores or juniors in honors Spanish 2 or higher. General meetings and activities are in the evenings. Two participation / service hours are required per semester. |
