      Overview

      • 2022 Homecoming Information!!!

        Homecoming Parade Application:

        • The Homecoming parade will be held Saturday September 24th at 9 am with staging time at 8 am. 
        • Any WTHS organization/activity/sport or Community Organization interested in participating in the Homecoming Parade please fill out the application form  HERE .  
        • All applications are due September 16th by 3pm. 
        • You will receive instructions and line up on September 20th by 3pm.

        Homecoming Dance Information: 

        • This year, the Homecoming dance will be held at the O'Plaine Campus on September 24th from 6:30pm-9:30pm. 
        • We will have an indoor/outdoor dance. 
        • The indoor portion of the dance will be in the gym and have a DJ and dancing. 
        • The outdoor portion of the dance will be in the parking lot and have food trucks (at an extra cost), games, an outdoor dance area, and more! 
        • Students are able to move from one portion to the other when they want. 
        • The Homecoming dance is a semi-formal event.

        Homecoming Dance Ticket Sales:

        • Only current WTHS students and Approved WTHS Alumni will be permitted to purchase a ticket.  
        • Ticket Sales will be available on the Webstore from September 5-16th for $25.  
        • Late Ticket Sales will be available on the Webstore from September 17-22nd for $50.  
        • All Fees must be paid before the purchase of a Homecoming ticket.  Please contact the bookkeeper at either campus for any questions. 

        Homecoming Dance Alumni Request Form

        • Only WTHS Alumni (under the age of 21) are permitted to attend the 2022 Homecoming Dance. 
        • Alumni Requests will be accepted from August 29-September 2nd. 
        • Once your guest has been approved you will receive an email with instructions.

        Homecoming T-Shirt Sales:

        • Sales for shirts will be now through September 16th.
        • If you are interested in purchasing a Homecoming t-shirt, use this link.
        • The cost is $10 per shirt. T-Shirts are NOT included with the homecoming ticket this year. Shirts can be picked up the week of homecoming.

        Monday Sept 19th

        • O - Old Town Road (Western/ Country)

        • S- Stay Afloat (Beach/pool)
        • We are excited about the return of the Powder Puff football game!  All are welcome to attend this FREE event at 6:30 p.m. at the Football Stadium.

        Wednesday Sept 21st

        • C- Classic Movie Genres (Superhero, Sci-Fi, Western, Black and White, etc.)
        • Join us for an ALL school pep assembly with performances by your cheerleaders and devilettes, drum line, and more!  We will be announcing the Royalty Court!  All are welcome to attend this FREE event at 6 p.m. at the Football Field. 

        Thursday Sept 22nd

        • A - Anything But a Backpack (school appropriate containers that can be safely carried up and down stairs and not bigger than 9 x 14 x 22 inches)
        • Freshmen Football game: 4:45 p.m. Football Stadium

        Friday Sept 23rd

        • R - Rep the Blue Devils (Wear Blue & Gold)
        • Varsity Football Game:  Come out and cheer on the Blue Devils at 7 p.m. as they take on Lake Zurich High School
          • Student Section Theme: 

        Saturday September 24th

        • Homecoming Parade:  It will start at 9:00 a.m. in the Gurnee Police Department parking lot and head north up O'Plaine Road. The parade will conclude at the North lot of the O'Plaine Campus.
        • JV Football Game: 8:30 a.m. Football Stadium
        • Homecoming Dance: The dance will be held at the O'Plaine Campus Gym and outside in the parking lot.  There will be food trucks, dancing, and a photo booth!  Come out to Hollywood, and be prepared to have a great time!!!

        • The WTHS Homecoming "Devils in Hollywood" themed parade will start at 9:00 a.m. in the Gurnee Police Department parking lot and head north up O'Plaine Road.

        We hope to see our community out to support our Blue Devils this year!!

         Dances are a privilege for students of WTHS to attend.

        • WTHS students must present their current school ID upon entering any school-sponsored dance.
        • All school dances and events are drug and alcohol free events.
        • In order to attend, all students and outside guests must remain drug and alcohol free for the duration of the event.
        • By purchasing a ticket and attending the dance or event, students agree to all rules and conditions of a Warren Township High School function.
        • All rules in the Student Handbook will be enforced.
        • In addition, dancing that is defined as sexually explicit or otherwise inappropriate will not be allowed. Students will be given one warning, and additional contact with staff will result in the parent or guardian being notified and the student will be removed from the dance.
        • If students are unable to adhere to the requirements, parents will be notified and appropriate action will be taken including but not limited to: school discipline, referral to local law enforcement, loss of privilege to attend future dances and/or events.
