Warren Township High School's 108th Commencement Ceremony will be held at the NOW Arena in Hoffman Estates, Illinois on
Sunday, May 18, 2025 at 10:00 a.m.
Cap & Gown/Jostens

Warren Township High School works directly with Jostens for graduation announcements, caps and gowns, and other Class of 2024 merchandise created by Jostens. Our school representative is Mr. Brian Walter. Along with Jostens, we will communicate important ordering dates and information throughout the school year.
If you have not already done so, please order your cap & gown/announcements online. Senior check out/supply pick up will be on Thursday, May 16, 2024.

Important Dates

- Between December, 2023 - Thursday, May 16, 2024
- Complete FAFSA or the non-participation form
- Friday, May 10 - Last day for seniors if exempt from final assessments
- Turn in your textbooks, calculator rentals, and library books
- Reset your Chromebook
- Complete the Senior Exit Survey
- Request your final transcript through Maia Learning. Directions here
- Request your dual credit transcript and AP scores sent to your college if applicable
- Make sure all school fees are paid in full
- Monday, May 13 - Last day for seniors NOT exempt from final assessments

- Class of 2024 checkout/graduation supply pick up-10:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m.-Almond Campus
- Sunday, May 19 - Class of 2024 Commencement Ceremony-10:00 a.m.-The Now Arena
- Saturday, June 1 - Create a personal email address if you don't have one. Update records (like your College Board account) to use that new address, and export any Google Drive, Canvas or OneDrive materials you would like to keep. Your D121 accounts will shut down after graduation

Graduation Requirements:
- FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) is now required for all graduate candidates.
- Waivers are available.
- Please click this link for more information and to access the waiver form.
- The FAFSA form will be available in December 2023.
- SAT Participation in the SAT offered during the day at Warren Township High School is a State of Illinois graduation requirement.
- If a graduate candidate has not taken the SAT during the school day at their campus of attendance in their junior year (April of 2023), they need to sit for the SAT on April 10, 2024 at Warren Township High School.
- Please see your counselor if you have any questions.
- 18.5 Credits Each student must successfully earn a total of 18.5 credits to qualify for graduation

Commencement Ceremony Photos

Visual Image Photography will be photographing your student's diploma portrait against a backdrop just before walking across the stage at this year's graduation ceremony. All images will be posted online for view and purchase. Parents will receive an email within a week of graduation linking them to their child’s graduation photo. If you do not receive an email, please visit www.vipis.com to view and purchase your graduation photos. Type in the name of your school and click on the graduation tile. Enter the student’s full name and an email address. This will bring up your student’s diploma portrait as well as the graduation candids, a link to your senior portraits, and access to event photos from this past year at WTHS. Graduation Day Reminders

For up-to-date information on graduation, please see our website at www.d121.org, select Students and then choose Graduation. All information, including links to the live streaming events, can be found there.
Please arrive at The NOW Arena by 9:00 a.m., and enter through Door #11 on the east corner of The NOW Arena. Signs will be posted directing you.
The ceremony will begin promptly at 10:00 a.m.
Make sure you bring the following items to the ceremony:
- Cap and gown, the school provided medallion, and, if earned, the cum laude, magna cum laude, summa cum laude, or any NHS cords/stoles, that were provided in your graduation supply bag if applicable.
- The note card included in your bag that you received at senior check-out/graduation supply pick-up.
- This 3x5 note card has your name and seat number on it.
- This note card is used for you to find your assigned seat.
- You will also hand this note card to the reader as you walk on the stage for them to read as you cross the stage.
- Please spell your name phonetically on the card if needed.
- Please make sure that your guests have the tickets needed to enter the stadium. The tickets are included in your bag that you received at senior check-out/graduation supply pick-up.
- Each graduate has been provided with eight (8) tickets to the ceremony. Graduates will not need a ticket to enter the arena; however, friends, family, and children over the age of two will need a ticket to be admitted into the arena.

- All graduate candidates are required to attend.
- The Class of 2024 Check-Out and Graduation Supply Pick-Up is Thursday, May 16, 2024, from 10:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. at the Almond Campus.
- Graduate candidates will be checking out at a variety of stations, including meeting with their school counselor, tech support, the business office, and their graduate supply pick-up.
- Below is a list of items distributed at the event:
- Cap & gown (if ordered)
- A Class of 2024 Medallion
- A card with your name and ceremony seat location
- Eight ceremony tickets
- Your immunization record
- Honors Cords (if applicable)
- National Merit Certificate (if applicable)
- Athletic Awards (if applicable)

Ceremony Tickets

Each participating graduate will receive eight (8) tickets this year for family and friends to attend the ceremony. Graduates will not need a ticket to enter the arena. Also, children under the age of two who will sit on the lap of an adult will not need a ticket. We will not be offering the opportunity to request extra tickets above the allotted eight (8). If graduates are in need of extra tickets, we ask that they communicate with other participating graduates who may not be using their allotment of tickets. Tickets will be distributed at Class of 2024 check-out/graduation supply pick-up on Thursday, May 16, 2024.
